SOCI Anti-Colonization and Anti-Racism Committee Recognized!

The Department of Sociology's Anti-Colonization and Anti-Racism Committee (ACARC)  has received the "Committing Sociology" recognition from the Canadian Sociological Association (CSA). The "Committing Sociology" commendation is intended to recognize sociologists across Canada who are "making our classes, our campuses and our communities better places to be".

We are very pleased to recognize the work of Drs. Jim Brittain, Jesse Carlson, Rabindra Chaulagain, Emily Lockhart, and Foroogh Mohammadi on this committee, and the contributions their work has made to the Sociology program and to Acadia Community more widely.  Bravo!
