Building Bridges Behind Walls: Nova Institution & Acadia University Unite
In 2025, Acadia Sociology's Dr. Elisabeth Rondinelli partnered with Corrections Canada's Nova Institution for Women to deliver a "Walls to Bridges" course at Nova that blends Acadia Sociology students with students incarcerated at Nova. We are so proud of this innovative and unique learning opportunity and the benefits it brings to all the students and our respective communities, and are happy it will be running again in Fall 2026.
