A screening of two films addressing Canada’s role in Guatemala’s mining and trade, with discussion to follow.

Film 1- Looking For Justice: A film about the Small Farmers Committee of the Highlands (CCDA), a cooperative of indigenous Guatemalans involved in organic farming and land reclamation.
Film 2- The Gold Business: The History of a Foretold Conflict: A film addressing the practices of Canadian-owned mining company, Goldcorp.
Suggested $5 donation to benefit the 2010 Breaking The Silence solidarity delegation to Guatemala.
